Quickstart

You create a payout through the API, then approve it and send the recipient a claim link in the dashboard. The sandbox is used throughout: no real money moves, and payouts settle instantly.

1. Set up the sandbox

1. Sign up at sandbox.talentir.com and create a team.
2. Complete business verification with the Complete instantly button.
3. Open Wallet and click Deposit 1,000 EUR. Approval needs a funded balance.
4. Go to Integrations → API keys and create a key.

2. Create a payout

The response is the payout in status created. Nothing moves yet: a payout waits for your team's approval. Copy its id for the next steps:

3. Approve it and send the claim link in the dashboard

Open Payouts in the dashboard, select the payout, and click Approve. The amount is now reserved against your balance and the status is approved. The dialog then asks how the money reaches the recipient: choose Send claim link and confirm.

Talentir emails the recipient. They sign in with a one-time code, choose a payout method, and claim the money. Use your own email address as the recipient to walk through the claim screen yourself.

In the sandbox, a claimed payout settles instantly, so status is completed right after the claim.

Next steps

• Pay with a payout link — every payout field, sending the link yourself, and the sandbox failure scenarios.
• Approve payouts — approve on a hosted screen or through the API instead of the dashboard.
• Pay directly — push payouts to a saved bank account, PayPal, or crypto wallet, without a claim link.
• Set up webhooks — real-time payout status notifications instead of polling.
